ARB is famous to designing parts, showing them off, and then never making them. How long do you think it will take them to start selling these parts?

The Snorkel, basic front bumper, and BP-51 suspension is already for sale. The rest of the parts are not. I was hoping to see the rear suspension and possibly a hydraulic bump stop

    Skid plate system
    Sliders [with or without U-Bolts]
    Front recovery location
Front Bumper to Slider connection tubes
Rear Bumper [with cut off pipes?]
    Bed rack system
    Unplugged roof light bar

My goodness that's beefy... but it goes under the frame?

I don't know anyone would want so many holes in an, what I assume is, aluminum skid plate....

those bar ends don't sit under the frame, at all. If you land on that skid, 1 screw it holding that bar to the frame on each side....

Some of the product releases on their website already show July 2017. 9 month lead time. But it's the ARB way to draw interest and take a long time to make it.

In other news, that Rhino rack setup looks really awesome!!

No, Rhino Rack is a separate Australian company, sold in the USA by themselves. I think they're in Denver, or somewhere near. Really good products!!

well...to be fair a lot of these are now being released January.
Most of them are found on the website already with pricing just not available until january.
Snorkel, suspension, sliders, skids, front and rear bumper are all on the site.
I emailed them about the recovery point, they said aiming for spring.
Not sure about the bumper to slider bars though or the lighting and racks.

What I really want to know is can you use the skids without some. I hate that it doesn't have a access door for the oil filter, but I love how it has holes for venting and is structured to be strong even though its only 3mm steel.
I'd gladly buy the skid set and use all of it but the front skid and just put in an RCI instead.

You need to look into the finished transfer skid because that rear brace is held on by one screw on each side. It doesn't sit under the frame like most of the companies.

Also, I think all the cuts and holes on the skids are for sand to fall out while wheeling. Also, they seemed to randomly cut some of the holes and they don't match up side to side

Well if they're letting out sand and such they are also helping to get air flow to keep some of the heat down.

Really not sure until someone gets them and can post some info on it. I know most of the RCI skids need the rest to work, from what I understand the transmission and transfer case skids etc all join together. If the transmission skid can mount without the front skid being on then I guess its all good you can run an RCI front skid then have the rest be ARB. Given it doesn't have the oil filter door, I'm thinking (or at least hoping) ARB would be smart and not make it where the transmission skid is independent of the front skid since it will be removed more than the others each time you do an oil change, and at that point...would be a stupid design if you need to remove the rest just to do an oil change.

Figure wait until its released and more is know before I email ARB about it.

I have the RCI full set. The rear of the front, both ends of the transmission, and the front of the transfer skid all begin and end at cross members and overlap each other. If the ARB skids overlap and end at cross members you should be alright. It really depends on the final product. I don't see why they wouldn't put an oil door on the ARB unit

Based on this picture, it looks like the ARB units do not overlap each other. They are using the butt design where they sit next to each other in front or behind a cross member. I think the overlap is much stronger for landing on things. Those can be ripped apart but it does keep the hardware hidden from the bottom

I question the strength of those sliders. What is everyones thoughts on how they are mounted?

I like watching this one YouTube channel by a guy named Ronny Dahl and he mentions some issues with the sliders, though I can't confirm if they were actually ARB.

    No ronny's are O/L
But they're probably very similar to the ARB

They're considered to be "protection steps", so if you run over a stick or crap it doesn't fling up and hit the side, while giving full length steps. They're not promoted as sliders and can't support the full weight of the vehicle like the sliders you're used to. They'd be better off being called "running boards".
