To be honest, I don't think I can sew worth a shit really. I tried making a pair of pants once. Utter failure of the highest degree. Same with stretchy shit, Fail. I'd feel like I accomplished something if I could make a piece of clothing that actually turns out correct. Would probably help a lot if I could learn from someone that does that. I taught myself everything I know or read it in a book.

I can make costumes and shit that doesn't really have to be done perfectly. Even though I'm a perfectionist and it bothers me to no end if it isn't perfect.


If you suck as a medic you wouldn't be here after 21 years. They run you off rather quickly in this business if you suck. When I was hired here if one employee said something bad about you there wasn't a chance in hell of you getting a job here. This isn't the service for people that suck or can't deal with a stressful situation extremely well and for an extended period of time. Our closest hospital is 25 miles away and it freaks a lot of people out that are use to being 10 minutes max away from a hospital. I'm not saying I'm the best but I can hold my own.

 

Can't think of anything more American than that, unless it involves eating Mexican food while wearing it.

Still think that tailgate grill is genius.

 

Was going to make another one and never found another compressor tank in the scrap yard ever again.

Well....you do seem to have the magic touch with everything you do.

 

So I told you guys that my daughters (mainly my 14 yr old) are always complaining about dead device batteries. I bought them some battery boosters thinking that would help. Doesn't help when you don't know where the booster is half the time and/or it's not been charged (oh the irony). I showed this pic the other day of the USB charging ports I installed in the backseat area of the wife's car....thinking I was the man.

The 14 yr old complained today about her low phone battery in the car. Couldn't use the ports because she forgot her USB charging cord! I give up.

 

That was a compliment. You know....all that shit you built and made and such.

That's why I bought cords for the truck and for my laptop bag. That way there's always a cord somewhere.
