Well, you guys still have the rest of the week to think about it. I've made more than a few trips down South. But I get it, it may be too far for 2nd gens to drive.

I'd honestly love to wheel before we lose it till next summer.
Getting off work at 6am isn't the best though.

There are bypasses around both of those particular "puddles" now, lol. I won't even drive through them.

The only reason for the early start time for Green Ridge is that it is a long trail, 5-7 hours to run it plus the hour and a half drive to get to the trail from FoCo, then the drive home from RedFeather. I was just wanting to be off the trail before dark. Trees fall across this trail daily, so time has to be allowed to get them out of the way.

Bald is much shorter, the rocks are bigger, there are bypasses around the bigger ones. It can be run in around 2-3 hours. It's an hour away from FoCo and the return trip is the same as Green Ridge, thru RedFeather.

    Cool somebody has interest.
I'll make the call to run Bald Mtn as it is shorter, and relatively mud free.:D
Meet at Ted's Place (base of the Poudre Canyon) at 8:30ish to gas up and pee, leaving promptly at 9:00.
We'll be taking RedFeather highway to Manhattan Road.

These trails are normally covered in snow by now so this is kind of a rare treat to run them this late in the year.
