399 after quite a few rounds of IB and on the verge of 400. Really love this gametype this week.

Cant wait to buy that IB pulse rifle. Looks beast AF.

 

Yeah, Control is probably my favorite game mode in Crucible. Of course I'm the dickhead that always runs around and treats it like Clash lol. If I happen by a control point I'll take it but I'll run B-Line every time for the action. As far as the pulse rifle goes, you "might" actually get a god roll on one after a match. I've gotten plenty of weapons out of IB in the past that were better than the one's they were selling.

 

I tried my different loadouts but in the end i was doing better with titan smash. I coukd actually hold or retake a zone on my own as long as I had my super ready.

 

That's what I run on my Titan when I run Crucible. Honestly it's more for the grenades. But yes Fist of Havoc is brutal. In my experience though (and I'm also guilty of doing it) it turns into fist of panic if I see that I'm going to lose a 1v1 shoot out. Same with Nova Bomb on the WL. I need to get better at not doing that and have the discipline to hold on to it for the right opportunity.

 

I had a miss last night of a triple and possibly a quad when i hit the door frame vs inside the door.

 

Craig, did you look at the clever dragon shes selling? Its no doubt a god roll and this gun will no doubt be nefed next big patch.

 

You know.... Honestly I didn't really have much of a chance to check it out. I noticed she was selling it with a stability perk on it IIRC but I was in a rush to pick up the bounties after we finished the raid last night that I didn't really look. I haven't been on yet today and we are doing IB tonight so I'll check it out then.

 

Lol... Sounds like me and some of my Nova Bomb misses. I jumped up one time with three lined up and hit a fucking limb on a tree instead. Didn't end well for me.

Ended up kinda forming a team yesterday. We were destroying kids until Bungie stepped in and gave us another full team. Then things got interesting yo say the least.

But Im once again up to 4 guys to do the raid. So hopefully that will happen after IB

 

Same here. We all go into IB (or Crucible matches) with a full team and wreck others. I'll play solo every once in awhile when I'm bored but I much prefer going in as a team and doing call outs. We usually go in and just fuck around with our opponents. Popping 2 Titan bubbles is funny as shit watching the other team wonder what to do if their supers aren't up.

So I've played 2 Characters through to rank five in IB and never got one Clever Dragon to drop. Had to buy one. I did get a god roll Distant Star to drop that is fucking awesome. I didn't think I could replace my Mida but this thing is a beast.

Yea, I played 2 or 3 yesterday but I didnt have a team. Just sucks if you cant go in with at least 4 so there is some communication about zones. I found myself being left alone and teammates not taking an empty zone when spawned next to it too many times.
I do however feel my loadout is solid for this gametype. More than once I was able to take down supers and control zones that had steady challengers or even a rush of 3.
Theres something to be said about the dual lightning grenade, max armor Arc Titan holding a GoM & Matador64.......with enhanced radar

My journey to 400 is almost complete. Only two items remain. Heavy & Chestplate.

 

Yep, full auto, braced frame, high caliber rounds, and rescue mag (the only bad perk). Same fire rate as the Mida but is 90 on stability so it is a headshot machine. I can go toe to toe with someone using a Grasp, Blind Perdition, Clever Dragon, etc... It all depends on who lands the first shot.

I'm like you and would much rather go in with a full team but... when I'm playing solo I'm the dick that just runs around shooting everyone instead of capturing zones. Hell... we do that when we are all playing together since we can usually run up the score without ever capturing a zone and that's fun as shit to me. That's the thing I like about Control. I "know" where they are going to be all the time. I'll just run my k/d up.
