206 shouldn't have passed. Dumbest shit ever. Why raise minimum wage when EVERYTHING else will also raise in prices? Look at California. Raise the wages (let alone property values) and everything is so fcuking expensive. Homes, gas, education everything. But yet that dumb ass state is in serious delinquent debt and can never get out?

Let them. As beautiful it is, it's getting more and more fcuked since i left in 2001. No more federal aid, grants to CA, FEMA when it burns or floods, etc etc. Go on about your business.

Dear lord that is gonna be fucked. I bet everyone with minimum wage starts racking up some serious debt now in anticipation of making almost $2 an hour more...

I was talking about this with some people and one guy looked at me and said "Not everyone can have a nice job like your's Colby".

I told him "Minimum wage should be an incentive for you to go out, educate yourself, and get a better paying job so you can make more money since Minimum wage only gets you the Minimum quality of life."

At least on the bright side our food orders from McDonald's will finally be correct.

    Machines don't make mistakes.

That's exactly what I told him. Raising the wage will make less jobs because fast food will use machines vs people. The only ones who will be working McDonalds is the burger flippers. Everyone else at McDonalds is jobless.

Soon I don't see fast food places needing anymore than 2 people. One to unbox the food and load it into the machines. One to sit and smoke cig's out back and pretend it takes 2 hours to take out the trash.
