I'm just gonna have to deal with snow and cold weather is all. Where I am in NC there isn't much to do surprisingly so I'm always down to check out new places

Yeah, those seasons are actually 'time to ride!' for two weeks, then 'my balls are sticking to my legs like gecko feet on a wall' season for 6 months. Then 'time to ride!' for another couple of weeks, then "where the fuck is the snow" for 5 months.

    I second this. I don't even break a sweat until 105. Yet I'll start shivering at 60.

It's all about what you're used to. I'm used to heat and humidity. Y'all are used to misery.

Perfect day: 26 and sunny, no breeze. A good heavy flannel shirt and a wool hat is all you need.

My freshman year at college was eye opening as far as people and their temperature tolerance. A girl in a bunch of my classes was from CA and at 60 degrees she was wearing a coat and complaining about it being cold and I was in a hoodie and shorts. Once the temp went into the 90's, I started saying I was hot and she's in a turtleneck saying it was comfortable.

Of course then there's my wife who has complained she's been cold when the ambient temperature was 76°F. I'm fairly confident if she was actively on fire, she'd complain the parts of her not actively on fire were cold. I keep a spare hoodie in my truck just for her. I had the Vette out and she was complaining she was freezing and I had the AC on my feet. Go figure.

Make that 26°C and I'm fully on board.

At my second high school in Oman it would regularly get up to 35-45 C and we would have to still wear jeans and polo shirts. I would always wear an undershirt. And I would be comfortable! Then I came here and was laughed at my first winter because I was wearing my Carhart in September.

Road repair is summer.... We have almost winter, winter, still winter and construction season.
No, you just lose 2 seasons, stop lying.
My body never adjusted to the inferno heat you southerners call summer and I wasn't even as far south as you were! F-that, when it's too hot for me to go ride the motorcycle, we have a problem.

From what I've seen down there, rainpocalypse happens too. I've never seen so many car accidents in my life than I did on the rainy day I was down there.
