    Yea Mike was already annoying me about how he couldn't see me enough. So i changed it to avoid that early on in the trip. We had tons of traffic though on the hub.

    It was a low rock, partially hidden by a vegetation protruding from upslope side of the trail. Was about 20 yards prior to this spot. I never ended up going back to look at it/photograph it. Would have just pissed me off more.

    Yea that was the only big carnage. Thankfully. Besides my mud flaps getting ripped off and i tagged my rear bed side on the last damn trail due to getting cocky and taking a line i shouldn't have.

    Otherwise, the sliders, rear diff, crossmember, skid plates and my rear bumper and thank god for the tow receiver all took plenty of hits. On my rig anyways.

    Great pics. Can't wait to see some more! Also to second what you guys are saying about the BFG's...The last two years I was in Moab my buddy had problems with his km2's. Punctured one the first year and lost a bead the second year.

    The main reason I've continued to run BFGs and KM2s is because of size availability. They definitely offer a much wider selection of sizes than most manufacturers.

    That is the compromise. The KM2 itself is only 'adequate' in terms of performance, both sidewall and traction, the important factors IMO. Price and mileage are not criteria I use in determining which tire I run on my rig.

    Find me a tire in 33x10.5r15 with better sidewall durability and mud and rock traction and I will try it.
