So... After reading that, and following the links it appears that I may qualify at the full co-pays level. Which is much higher than the insurance I have through work. But I do have to pay for that insurance through work. And I can't maintain coverage on the wife, if I don't have coverage for myself. So I think I am stuck. At least until I retire...

VSO ... Veteran service officer , these service officers can be from many different organizations such as DAV " Disabled American Veterans , Military order of the Purple Heart assoc or even a VSO from the VA itself

When you get to a VA med center walk up to the info desk and ask that you want to speak to a VSO . They will direct you to them

You're not grasping what Cypher and I are saying . when you fill out paperwork there and then follow the protocol given you can end up with a disability rating , you know free money given to you're and every month

Here let me show you what you can get ...

    http://militarybenefits.info/va-disability-rates/

Just to let you know , when I had my knee replacement done in Nov 2014 I immediately was given $2906 per month for 1 year . I then had revision surgery on the same knee on July 2015 . I received $2906 per month for a total of 6 months

Not exactly free. It's kinda like tax free wear and tear payments owed to you for sacrificing your body and mind over your military tenure.

If you look at this link again

    http://militarybenefits.info/va-disability-rates/

I'm @ 50% disabled and receiving $836 per month , now when my disability revaluation is completed I'm looking 80 -90% disabled or anywhere between $1500 to $1700 per month

Also if these recent tests come back saying I need more surgery I will once again be receiving $2906 per month

He still needs to fill out a claim and get his paperwork completed . Also he doesn't need to go to a VA for healthcare he can ask for Veterans choice program

Edit ... Disregard the Info on Veterans choice , you would have needed to be enrolled in the VA healthcare prior to 2015

So tonight's cooking tip: plug the steamer in and the artichoke will be done when the dinger goes of.
