It's working out great so far. Helps to have it handy when I want to record a trail run

@WHOISTYLER sorry for the slow Reply, I've been AWOL. This is the Undercover Flex. Got it from Autoanything. Talked to them and asked for discounts and the price dropped very fast.

I'm running 265/75R16 with no lift and have no rubbing. Should be good to go.

Nope not even close to rubbing you could do 265/70R16 no problem I'm pretty sure all the Tacoma's now are the same height stock. I went with the stock size, however looks like plenty of room to go a bit bigger I just didn't want to risk it. Great tires i had them on my '15 zero road noise great in snow and affordable.

I need some direction with tires guys.....

lift: I went with the LOR 3/1 kit (for now, I've never done a spacer lift before, but it was tough to refuse for $275 shipped to Hawaii and it seems to have good reviews) :crapstorm: I'll upgrade to the Toytec Boss kit if I dont like the LOR kit

    going w/ 18x9 -12mm Fuel Mavericks and 285/65/18 tires....

choices are between the BFG AT KO2, Cooper Discoverer STT Pro, and the Firestone Destination MTs

    thoughts on the particular tires?

I'm in Hawaii so 99% driven on the street and 1% off road (beaches and a little mud), but will be moving back to Colorado in the next couple years where its a solid 70% on road / 30% off road (ice, rocks, snow, mud, etc..)

Between those I would personally go with cooper STT... but it seems like everyone and their grandmas on here have the KO2s... I went with federal M/T I've always loved the look and feel of those. It's just personal preference and use I guess. I live in Washington lots of rain and mud.

x2 on the general grabber AT2. Had them on my ranger. When I put AT's on my Tacoma it will be 265/70/16 Grabber AT2. Awesome all around tire.

yea everyone and their grandmas definitely have the KO2s haha... I see people pulling 60k miles out of KO2s, and I have heard Cooper tires are a little soft... so that is a slight deterrent.

@Canada17 It doesn't, you swing the case out and can still access the box. Instead of the doors falling open they only open a little bit due to the bracket you mount. Then you lift the door off and have full access to the compartments. No problem at all.

@Taco16LB that's right; Swingcase. Very easy to mount and great price from Autoanything. just ask for the discounts and they give them.. With the discount the cases were $189 each.
