Nick Saban said he wasn't aware that millions of Americans went to the polls on Tuesday to vote for the next president of the United States.

"It was so important to me that I didn't even know it was happening," Alabama's head football coach told reporters in Tuscaloosa on Wednesday evening. "We're focused on other things here."

To be fair, news media isn't part of Saban's routine.

The 65-year-old coach typically wakes up every morning, has a Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie and a cup of coffee and watches about 10 minutes of The Weather Channel, which promised no political coverage on Election Day.

Talk about a guy focused on his job..

I just wrote a 5 page paper on Nick Saban's leadership practices and personality assessment. Dude is driven beyond comparison. From a short distance, most would consider his behavior to be borderline manic. He literally eats the exact same thing, every single day for breakfast and lunch because, "it saves me time from having to look at a menu.". Iceburg lettuce salad with turkey slices and tomatoes. Every.single.day.

We don't do special, different uniforms however last weekend was Military Appreciation Day in Clemson

Purple uniforms, recognition for alumni vets and then families of those KIA, 2 battlefield crosses by the various ROTC drill teams, paratroopers, and a flyover...this year it was A-10s

I've done a form of it, by selecting a specific type of lunch in the Healthy Choice steamer (I know, not that healthy) but it provides somewhat a difference in options for types of food. Really makes my morning easier, just grab a steamer, coffee and get on the road. Honestly if I worked closer to home, I probably wouldn't do this.

I can kind of see him and belichek (sp?) and maybe Harbaugh having the same mentality. Except I bet belichek eats a more fattening lunch
