    Discovered something whilst building my cage. Our dashes are just painted, black underneath. At least mine is, just took some gray scotchbrite to it and a nice smooth black dash

    Well my cousin and I got together this New England afternoon and took a stab at a rear shock relocation. I took a late night flex shot on my way home, so enjoy!

    I may have some better shots after I go to VT for the weekend

    Yea it lifted off the ground. The leafs are pretty stiff and the bed is empty. Maybe it'll look different all loaded up.

    Do you have any pictures of it after taking the paint off? I'm super interested in trying this, I'm just wondering how it would look. I prefer dark interiors, but the price and condition were too good for my truck to pass up with a tan interior.

    Yup those are Dakars, CS019R. The leafs for the 98-04 look a bit softer than the leafs for the 95-97, at least from the pictures that I've seen of the 98-04.

    If this is true I might propose to you later.

    I've had a scratch on my passenger side airbag cover for 16 years. I've always noticed it's black where the gray/blue paint rubbed off. Never thought of going at it to make my dash black.
