It just wanted to be a bitch. Every spot I tried prying from wouldn't budge so I figured maybe I need my skid plate back on to get a better grab but nothing. I tried everything for 2 hours, bent my 3 ft bar in 2 different places. Finally it just popped out and when it did it flew a good 4ft. Not sure what was making it so difficult.

It would have went faster but I didnt have any gasket maker so I had to make a trip, also couldn't find my 12mm allen socket and forgot to rent a torque wrench for the cv nut. I had my wife grab the 12mm and torque wrench since I called the store and had it put to the side, she returned with a double flaring kit some how and neither the socket or torque wrench lol.

So lots of time wasted but it's done now

If you'd have just asked for Honda Civic parts you wouldn't have had a problem.

The real question is, how many tools got thrown during the process?

No, you need to regear before you start buying tires

Hahah surprisingly none, usually I'm pretty bad about throwing and breaking tools lol. But I was yelling at the truck that's for sure

Every time I had to go grab something else I rode the bike so that probably helped just letting it rip everywhere

Must not have been that bad of a job then, ha. Gonna be badass

Having a bike definitely helps with the extra transportation.

Since I ran out of time yesterday I'm sealing the wheel wells today, getting them painted before I go on a quick bike ride with a 4runner buddy and afterwards meeting up with @G.T. to give him his spare back that he kindly let me borrow.

My interior is also going back together, trying to clean up all the dust from welding and grinding into the cab. The bottom foot kick pieces have to be trimmed to fit now that where they used to go doesn't exist anymore and bulge out and not fit correctly.

My sliders are now touching my rocker pinchweld so that's annoying hearing a clunk everywhere I go

So much to do and so little interest haha

Hit the 500mi mark last night so I spent some time changing the gear oil out on the wet ground in the dark, Really need to fast forward 2-3 years so I can have a proper place to work on my truck at home. Technically the gears are broke in, but Ill probably change the rear again in 1000mi or sooner depending on the use it gets, the front still had paint on the gears and oil came out clean so Ill probably push that one out a couple thousand miles before I change that. Ill feel better after that.

Invoice for the new wheels was sent out today so I got that paid, hopefully 1-1.5wk I can put these new tires to use

Well I guess I need to rack up some more miles in 4wd, I thought I would have gotten something out of it for driving a little bit in 4wd
