Congratulations, man. Beautiful truck and I've always been envious of the Platinum and 1792 Editions. Enjoy her for a life time.

Welcome to the club. I got 18 on my last 1500 mile road trip. The 5.7 likes 80 mph.

Congrats. Third week in with my '08 Tundra Double cab 5.7 TRD, haven't spent much time missing the Tacoma. Fuel mileage between the two is very close so far, the only times I've missed the Tacoma is off pavement, and that should improve with the new set of Duratracs tomorrow.

And, I would hardly call a Tacoma a mini truck. Just saying.

    Nice truck!

Don't let the bastards get you down, OP. At least you're staying brand loyal. I totally jumped ship when I bought this thing. :stirthepot:

Yeah I have, and while asking that much is no issue, paying that much for a well used 2WD mini truck is laughable. Not my money though, so rock on buyers and sellers.

For the record, i like my tacoma and will likely buy another(or a 4runner), but the prices people are paying for old stuff are insane.

As far as the reason I pointed out your vehicle, it was a response to someone being "surprised" someone would pay that much for a lightly used tundra. Shit, if dude is surprised someone is paying that much for a full size, check out this old 2WD tacoma for 18.5.

That's a nice truck. A Tundra is on my short list once my Tacoma is paid for. We'll be needing more room by then and the Tacoma will be a 2nd vehicle. Only way the Tacoma will leave me before the wheels fall off is if it's totaled in a crash.

nice truck. looks just like mine. I can't level mine out though or put on taller tires more than an inch or so, because it won't fit in my garage but I don't plan on lifting anyway.
Other than suspension and wheels what have you done to it? any suggestions or must haves? I plan on floor liners and a tonneau but no other plans right for a while.
