    Calling all audio geeks...
I have a 2013 non jlb stock head unit with a alpine ktp-445u mini amp and component speakers in the front doors no rear speakers (access cab).
everything work fine and was happy with the set up.
last week I lost sound coming from the speakers and now only have week sound form the tweeters only.
I have check pwr to the amp and grounds and remote pwr to the amp and I tried another identical amp with no joy (same symptoms)

    What should I check next...???
Could it be my Head unit ???

    Need inputs
    ...really

    Wiring shorted out the amp?

Maybe try wiring directly from the head unit to the speakers, like originally, to rule out the head unit as being the problem?

x2 ... I also don't like "butt" connectors for my wiring. I would solder and shrink wrap the connections. If you wired the amp in so you can put it all back to stock, you should be able to bypass the amp totally. That's how I wire mine in.
