We need it for dust too. Rain has been absent for us for quite some time, and the trails have been extremely dusty.

You, sir, do not know how good you have it.

My trails are snowy and it's too cold to be installing a snorkel in the driveway.

    North Pole a lil' chilly?
I do know how good I have it down here. But droughts suck anywhere. And I am looking forward to cooler weather. This is not normal November weather for us.
    Snake River frozen yet?

It's not that bad yet really. There's been snow in my yard for over a month though; I'm getting sick of it already.

I am running my intake through my fender without liners also. Would love maybe a little update from @mahaloTaco! If he's this busy now, I hope he can still manage shipping once he gets the snorkels!

I think you got that a bit backwards... With a secondary Precleaner, snorkels will provide some extra benifit in dusty conditions, but without the Precleaner your likely going to pull in just as much dirt then without the snorkel.

My experience is the opposite. A couple years ago I did about 600 miles of dirt road riding over 4 days. One of the other tacomas had just put in a new air filter before we left as did I. We pulled them out on day three and his was pretty much done, mine looked like it just came out of the box.

The only time I would consider using a prefilter would be in crazy heavy snow and even then I'm skeptical since we get snow where I live and its never been a problem. Though I do carry an extra filter with me in case I need to swap out a wet one.
