I'm about to get into that for the truck and the lady's jeep. It worked wonderfully for my truck last winter, barely any sign of rust

Thread-locked and torqued my LBJ bolts to spec. Hadn't done so since they were taken out when swapping the CVs this weekend. And I retorqued all 24 lugs for the hell of it.

This is as far as I've gotten. My phone doesn't really do it just, but I've only spent a few minutes on it with red scothbrite. It's taking quite a while so I'm thinking of taking a DA to it with maybe 320, I just want to try and preserve the texture. Maybe a super smooth dash won't be that bad. I'll sand it more when I head outside.IMAG0423.jpg

Are you running any wheel spacers behind those wheels? They seem to be sticking out further than what 4" of BS alone would give.

No wheel spacer, I had to trim some stuff to clear because it rubs when turning. I had 285/75/16 with 4.5 bs on before and it clears with no triming needed

That is what it looks like to me as well. Unless there is some optical delusion going on with the photograph.

I'm going by how far past the tire is from the fender flares. Looks like 3.5" or even less maybe. :notsure:

I had to go look at my old setup with 33x12.5r15s when I had 4" bs and then 2.5".

Doesn't look close to 4". Looks closer to the 2.5" to me, though not that wide. So I'm still going with 3.5"

Will do, I'll probably end up spraying it with some type of uv resistant clear

Def want to go gallon and gun next go around. Much more economical than the individual cans. It will probably make welding frame plates on more of a chore but it will be worth it to make the brand new frame last longer.

Ah... you removed the whole upper dash panel.

I'm trying to avoid that. If I were to I'd just paint it and be done with it.

Looks great though for just sanding it.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
You can remove the whole dash in about 45 mins, having done it once or twice I can say if you aren't changing HVAC stuff just removing the beauty cover is easy.
