agreed. I would go with what you know and not rely too heavily on what you dont know. By taking the job, you know it will get in involved in what you got your degree in. the ONE thing ive learned in my few years of working is it's more about who you know (in most cases) than what you know. By getting your foot in the door, start making connections and networking. that will lead to other doors being open for the future. the bright side in your case, is its only a year and 2.5 hrs away. still close enough to regroup after the year is over and try something else if you dont like it.

If you dont do it, then you KNOW you are passing up a positive option (I assume you think it's positive, im not tryin to bias the decision) for an unknown. I try hard not to work with unknown since you cannot plan intelligently for them without assuming ALL variables possible. With the known option, you KNOW what variables are in play.

And at the end of the day, you gotta trust your gut. And once the decision is made, take it on head first, dive in, give it the effort it deserves or else you are only going to put yourself in a worse situation than if you hadnt tried at all.

Cell service is spotty there so don't expect to virtually attend conference from camp if you come out with us. (Assuming virtual is even an option for that conf)

Winch or come-a-long
Snatch strap
2, 3/4" shackles
Air compressor
Jack
Shovel
Can of either
Racket strap

That's a minimum of what you should have if you dont want to borrow other peoples stuff.

Not exactly work, This is firearms instructors confrence. It's limited space and it fills fast, so you have to book this nearly a year out if you want to attend.

Just passed a blue DCOR on 440, black wheels.

I also just passed a white lifted DCOR on Hillsboro road with a TTB sticker on the back?!

 

I do really enjoy wheeling, but I Love guns!!!!

Yeah def need that on the tool list. He just said recovery stuff so thats the list i went with. Although we both know that tools can be used in recovery but LBL is pretty much just mud hole recovery.

Good God those seem expensive. But yes that would def work in replacement of a winch. You would need a long strap also seeing as the cables are only 20' and i cant imagine how long that would take to pull a truck out of a mud pit. haha
