If you send it to a business address would that reduce the price on shipping?

I really, really, really dig these, but one question. Where are they threaded? Is the little "Peg" on the upright threaded, or is there a nut on the bar?

I have this magic ability to crossthread things or jack up the threads when sand gets in them, so I like to make sure harware is easily replaceable.

Whoops. Didn't mean to attach a screenshot. That's what I get for being lazy at work.

The little peg is an aluminum rivet nut. It could be replaced if you cross thread it, but I would suggest NOT cross threading it.

Could these be used at the same time as your bed rack, say to bolt a basket underneath the bed rack? The brackets can be mounted anywhere along the rail, right, even next to each other?

You would need to slide the side bars of the rack up and out of the way, so that would only be possible with the tall version of the rack.

Yep, the tall version. In this pic the side bars look to be high enough?

That cross bar is a thing of beauty!! Love the way it slots over the mount and attaches. Great design work!!!

I have a had a couple people inquire with me about 3rd gen bike mounts for the covered beds like this. Might be cool to offer a few other attachments that can bolt to the side, just an idea.

    GREAT WORK!

Will do. Now I just need to find a narrow basket to mount. Ever seen one that's about half the width of a normal rooftop basket (and cheap)?

Hmmmm.......Amazon tends to have those, usually cheap too. That's why we don't make one, you can buy one so cheap it's ridiculous.

Awesome! I just ordered a pair. Looks like USPS priority was best deal for shipping to California.
