Thats a lot cheaper than me. I paid $384. The part is currently in Chicago. So I may have it by tomorrow.

I've read threads after threads about this exhaust and that CAI systems, but I never see any dyno runs to back up people's claims of increased performance, just seat of the pants dyno comments about increased performance and MPG.

Loud pipes and intakes saves lives

I put on a TRD Pro exhaust and I like it. It is louder than the stock exhaust under acceleration and load (such as going up hills), but seems quieter in cruise conditions. The sound is nice while the stock exhaust just put out random noise. Also, the annoying buzzing vibration around 2000 rpm is gone. It is especially fun with my manual transmission.

I got the exhaust from TRD shop along with a set of wheels and a bed mat. Shipping everything to my business address was only $127, with everything on a pallet.

Same here with my manual. I'm really liking the TRD exhaust. Looking forward to TRD CAI to arrive next.

Extremely curious to see some dyno results for stock, with CAI, with Pro exhaust and with both.

    Subbed!

I bet the TRD CAT-BACK exhaust provides a little more power but the TRD PERFORMANCE AIR INTAKE does anything to boost performance.

On the TRD website it says of the TRD CAT-BACK exhaust:
    • Allows for a less restrictive path, helping reduce backpressure for added low-to mid-range torque, along with improved horsepower
On the TRD PERFORMANCE AIR INTAKE it doesn't mention any performance gains.

TRD also states that their TRD Radiator Cap (http://www.trdusa.com/parts-detail....odels=Tacoma&categories=all&subcategories=all)
    • Helps enhance vehicle performance in high-rpm or high-load conditions
    • Designed to release at higher cooling system pressures than factory caps, raising the coolant boiling point to protect engines under high-rpm or high-load operation
I'm not seeing how a little metal cap will do anything for engine performance. Might as well stick some TRD decals on your rig and claim it gives you 1.337 more HP per sticker.

Read the description. It has a stronger spring in it. If you run your engine hot, it'll run a little bit hotter before boiling over- so it'll keep you "in the game" that much longer.

Would any of us ever see these conditions? Doubtful...

I have an AFE intake and TRD pro exhaust and the butt dyno says 50hp gain lol. Kidding aside I had the TRD exhaust for 800 or so miles before the AFE CAI didn't feel much of a difference. With the CAI it had better low end response nice little growl at low speeds and just roars at above 5k RPMs.

Anyone else run into this? I took it out in one snow storm, parked it for a week and came back to this.
