How's the color match with the silver? Did they take you gas lid or color chart? Any leaks?

Color matches really well. If its off at all, I havent noticed it. The Leer dealer took color code and vin, nothing else. I do have a small leak at the front and I think its where the front of the bed meets the side. I had filled the gap between between front top cap and bed sides with foam weather stripping (before Leer install so its not that. I'll try caulk to cover where the plastic bed meets the metal bed body at the very front. There is a small gap under the plastic that you can stick your fingers in (from inside the bed).

    Sure you can...

Mine has had everything from mountain bikes, to dogs, fence post, chain saw and other crap taken to the junk yard. Don't get me wrong, I keep it clean and sometimes wish I had my Taco back (and may again) but, it gets used.

Love them both but quality wise alone the T4R is tops no question.

That said, I'd still & may own another Tacoma.

I have the exact same 2016 Tacoma Long Bed and love my truck. I went to pick up my 100 xq today and noticed that the hindges were not the hidden hindges that were advertised. There were a few other details that didnt look 100 percent. I asked the guy (at the factory outlet in Milton) if he knew why they didnt have the hidden hinges and he couldn't answer. Does yours have the hidden hinges and was the thule rail up top in good condition etc? Just looking to verify that what I ordered is what should be gettting.
    Thanks

I like the looks of that shell but I gotta think it's got limited functionality right? As far as the window goes? Does it just pop out a tiny bit?

my cap does have the hidden hinges. the thule tracks look right, but i havent used them yet for my roof rack. i opted for the sliding, tip out window and the whole window assembly comes out (versus just tips).

I saw a full size fridge in the back of a 4Runner ... you can fit a lot of shit in there when you fold those seats down lol

My Leer 100XQ does have the hidden hinges. I used silicone on all the front box angles. I would recommend the Ex tang 1140 max seal on the tailgate. There are some large gaps between the box and tailgate. This is my third Tacoma since 2001. Toyota Quality has gone down hill!20160709_184747.jpg Toyota quality went down hill!!!!

Looks really dope! It makes me regret not getting the quicksand color.

BTW, for those of you that have a 3rd gen and a camper shell... How has this effected the cargo light?

I am also interested in any options you considered and either chose/declined and your recommendations. General price points and turn around time would be appreciated. I have this topper on my 'wish list' and would be my first truck topper I have owned. Thanks in advance.
