I just heard from a friend of mine that Toyota has recalled our trucks for a gas peddle issue. Can anybody tell me what they are doing about this and just how our trucks are affected. If it is the floor mat thing again I took care of that before I shipped my truck.

I live in Germany and information about North American recalls is fairly difficult to come by over here. In order for me to take get any recall issue taken care of is a major ordeal.

Thanks for any help that is given.

The only gas-pedal related issue with our trucks is the floor mats. If you've fixed that problem, then you're fine.

Toyota has issed a 'stop-selling' order and recalled 2.3m other vehicles related to a separate gas-pedal issue. It does not include any model year of the Tacoma.

Hey thanks every one for the quick response. I wasn't to worried about it, if they did have a recall I am pretty sure that TW would spread the word.
