You people that think a TRD Pro will be an auction queen or a collectible are delusional. BTW, who cares what someone did to their truck....it has absolutely no impact on any of you positive or negative.

TacoFister, I was just trying to give an example why the builder would use a Pro instead of a SR! I really don't care why he did it or how much he spent! It's his money and truck. Why did you quote me then respond back with negative? Negative what?

It isn't about opinions and thoughts more than it is about people criticizing this owner because they took a vehicle and made it their own. As I said earlier, if this guy has $20k to drop on his truck...go for it and I am pretty sure the value of that truck in a few years or at an auction are thoughts that would never even cross this owners mind.

The same reason someone buys a new GT500 and rips it apart to make a turbo build. The same reason someone wraps a Lambo. Because they can and it has no impact on you or anybody else.
Warranty...again, if one has the means to put this kind of money into something, the warranty is not even important to them and they would likely not even use it if they had to. The same ones bitching about this owner sacrificing his warranty are the same ones talking shit about how your service department couldn't fix your diff howl or your shifting problems or leaking sunroofs. With all of the criticism of Toyota service departments and this owners obvious financial situation....why would they use/need/want a warranty?
