Mine is the short barrel (18.5") but a laminated stock which makes it about 8 lbs but finagling over the weight of the gun does little. There are factory loads out there from ~1400 ft lbs to 3500 ft lbs. The light loads I can fire all day, the hot stuff is 10 rounds before my shoulder meat feels like it was put through a blender. I have reloads that are even less powerful then the lowest factory loads.

But then I bought a recoil pad https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001C5XOJQ and I can shoot the hot stuff all day with no pain at all though sometimes the lever bites my kunckle during recoil though that only bothers me when I'm shooting 100+ rounds of the hot stuff and then I put on an old motorcycle glove and it's a non issue.

Yeah, @BDN prompted me to look mine up. KBB put me at 14-18k (poor to excellent, I'm probably a very good depending on what pinstriping counts as). I got it at the end of '06 even though it's an '07, so it's like 10 years and... fifteenish days at 65k. I paid 27.5. I remember looking at used ones, and aside from the size and access door differences that made me lean new, I would have only saved like 3-7k buying used. Now that's more like saving half apparently, because the new ones are stupid expensive.

Wow. I wouldn't pay $23k for a NEW base model... at that time/age. Let alone one with that damage. An SR5 or TRD with what appears to be reasonably low miles, maybe until I KBB'd it. But 16 sounds a lot more reasonable based on what I'm seeing.

I was half thinking on going out this weekend to probably the unofficial shooting area south of Rainbow Falls/Deckers off of Highway 67. I collect milk jugs and 2-liters after I empty them and then fill them with water for the effect. It's a nice change from shooting paper and going to the formal range that I go to which only allows paper targets and is very structured which gets a little old sometimes.

If you want to meet me there we can nail down a time/day that works best. I have no plans other then watching the Broncos game on my couch this weekend.

If anyone else wants to go too that's cool with me.

I actually paid kbb private party for my 2006 at mountain state Toyota. I was surprised, the salesmen was surprised it was so cheap too.
