Ahh. It could be as I took it in the dark garage with a camera phone. I'll be leaving for home in a few hours and post what colour it is.

I'll give them another try. I live much closer to them anyway. I bought the 2016 at Haley because their list price was much lower and they had the truck in stock. I know a good independent repair shop but I'll need a dealer until the warranty lapses.

HAHA! I did man! Discount Tire. How the hell do you mess that up!? I made the switch because I have to do some highway driving myself and it was significantly better with the new KO2's. MT/R's look bad ass but I wasn't off road enough to justify.

First the Jescar sealant then next day Collinite. Turns out smooth as glass. Should protect the paint through winter since we don't have any snow yet.

Hit 10k miles and changed the oil in front and rear differential today. Pretty easy, lower your spare for the rear to fill and I used a pump for the front. Didn't notice any feel in driving but it made me feel better .

Just did the a/c drain mod! Drove to my daughter's basketball game tonight, 18 miles away. Averaged 18.9 mpg, not to shabby! Heading to northern Wisconsin tomorrow, I will see how she does on a longer trip.

The guy that owns the shop that did my regear, changed the fluid at 600 miles, but said other than if there would be any problems down the road or if I dunked it under water, it shouldn't really need changing again because it doesn't really get hot enough to break down!

Question on the push to start/stop button. If it is oem, shouldn't it be backlit blue to match the interior lighting? Or is it made for a different vehicle but fits on the Tacoma?

Ah, that's what I thought! I think it would have to have the blue back lighting to entice me.

I like my vehicle's interior looking like the inside of a space shuttle at night. So I don't mind different colors here and there.

Made for another vehicle and I'm not sure which Toyota product this would be standard in. But I'm sure glad they
made it plug and play for the Tacoma even if it doesn't match the blue hue. It only lights up when you open the door and
shuts off once you start the engine and stays on until you turn off the engine by pushing the switch.
