    Ether it is used to seat the bead on a tire if it ever lost a bead. Loft wheel/tire off the ground. Spray a limited amount of ether in it. Stand off to the side and ignite the ether. The controlled explosion will seat the bear allowing you to quickly inflate the tire.

    Go with your gut feeling. You don't seem to be one to make a lot of bad decisions....

    Also, 1 year contract.....How binding on YOUR end? If something better comes along, is there a penalty for leaving early. Although that is usually a bad thing to have early exit on your resume', it would be bad to be locked in if a better offer came along. That said, really GOOD jobs are in relatively short supply now. I can't speak specifically to your career field, but a foot in the door may be a good thing until the business climate picks up a bit. JMHO, but I think things will start rocking and rolling in the next year.....
