Little warning about Fluid Film if that can gets cold in a unheated garage don't use it. It won't spray correctly and all the pressure will leak out. They don't spray worth a crap until they're warm

I haven't really heard of people painting it on. It comes in aerosol cans or by he gallon which, I believe is meant to be sprayed on w their gun.

I bought the gallon and gun kit that came w one aerosol can as well. I heard people get their whole undercarriage done w 3-4 cans. I think I used 1/3 of my gallon for the truck.

I burned through a whole can getting the inside of the frame. The kit came w an aerosol flexible tube extension that you can stick in all the frame holes.

Even the gallon has this same situation. It sprays through the gun much better when it's a little warm

They're just covering their a**, its not DOT approve and your not suppose to have beadlocks on the highway or paved road. I got 35 psi on mine right now and driving on the freeway doing 70 and their balance very good from the last owner, very little vibration

That's good to know. Never messed with beadlocks before but if I can go over 75 without any trouble I'll be happy. I'll definitely look at these when the time comes for new wheels

It's more maintenance, you just have to check the bolts every now and then also they are heavy a** F**k compare to non beadlock and they are harder to balance and most people just put in balancing beads inside the tires.

I messed with 22s and those wheels were heavy, felt like 50-60 lbs. Thanks for the info! I guess every oil change I'll check the bolts

I assume this deal includes the entire housing and not just the diff.

Next time, I'd consider rebuilding the OEM alternator & starter. I paid $80 for one and $91 for the other. I'll PM anyone the business info. You'd pay to & from shipping though. Look around locally, there'll be an "auto electric" shop in someplace close. I guarantee mine will last just as long as the new one.
