Clove oil does wonders for dry socket prevention and pain. Worked well for me. Google it.

 

Yah he eventually told me to go to Walgreens as there then only ones local that carry it it's called like tooth ache kit or something like that, pretty much clove oil, tweasers, and some mini cotton balls. I just took a piece of a normal cotton ball and shoved it in that area, then put a dry cotton ball on top of it to push the other one into the hole. It tastes like shit but relief in minutes and lasted a good few hours each time. Did more for the pain then the meds did.

 

All in due time..... brah!

 

I was on a liquid and super soft food diet for about 9 moths after I had jaw surgery for TMJ. that was a fun time lemme tell ya. I hate most mashed potatoes now. green machine juice was one of my best friends. I feel for ya man.
