Bungie's Destiny

I've given up on getting a Matador 64. I've just gone back to using my Invective and with full auto I can complete with a rusher before they can reach me. I've got my melee mapped to my right stick so it is a quick shotgun / melee combo that is destructive.

It's rare that I get more shotgun kills than primary kills but I did in this game last night. Rush me bro... I'll own ya lol

 

Some dick team did that to us yesterday on Floating Gardens. Held two zones and used the lanes to feed kills. Also, on that map you can hold to spawn also. Not sure how myself and 2 others had a +kd but the rest of my team was .5 at best.
Cant win any game with that kind of performance from 50% of the team.

Oh. Got another GoM yesterday when I left IB for strike farming. Wasnt a good roll but im glad I got the op to get one.


As for that DS, what makes you win is those HC rounds causing a flinch. Thats what im looking for with the GoM

 

Exactly. That's what's on my Grasp also. That is one of the main perks I look for now in any weapon is high caliber rounds. Causing the other player to flinch just once is all you need. I love taking out snipers that way. That said, my Longbow has unflinching on it

 

Oh yeah... got to go pick up my PS4 Pro in a few mins. Do I "need" one? Nope. But I wanted one and I play on a 32" Ultra Wide 4k monitor (even though Destiny doesn't support 4k). Anyone want to buy a Destiny Edition PS4 lol? I've got 3 PS4's now with only use for 2 of them.

 

We were playing a while back with our regular team and a buddy of mine was capturing a zone. I ran by on my way to find someone to shoot and he shamed me into coming back and capturing the zone with him. It's a running joke that me and one other guy on our team are NOT going to capture zones. I play control / clash with a heavy emphasis on Clash. But in the end it doesn't matter when I can regularly score 4000 + points.

*EDIT* I will go for B-Line every time though.

Again, depends on the team and map. We typically leave 1 or 2 with a team. If its randoms... Good luck getting BKs to do the right thing.

 

Oh if it's randoms... I just run off and do my own thing. Fuck getting zones. I'll just run up my K/D. If we win cool. If not... I've got a good K/D to look at.

I didn't mind the shotguns (other than the fact I don't have a Matador). I did hate not having a radar. This should be fun. Sniping on that map is easy to avoid. I played that map often during year one.

 

Yea, its inevitable people get pissy. No one can be happy. Yet rewards are better than ever and the game keeps getting better.

Not many franchises put this much into a 3 year old game. Keeping it fresh and fun for that long is awesome. I feel ive got my monies worth in this one. Something i havent felt since H3.

 

Were you here in year 1 I forget? Year 1 was a little rough. Felt as if we were playing the beta version of the game. Then House of Wolves came out and I quit for about 6 months because the game sucked. The Taken King came out and renewed my interest and the updates throughout TTK they made were all positive and I really enjoyed the raid and got heavily invested in PvP by then. Now I login every day and play because there is always something for me to do even with 3 - 400 characters. So yeah, I agree. I've got my monies worth.

*EDIT* Enough so that I just spent $1500 on a PS4 Pro and new monitor.

 

I will have to say that I play the game because I truly enjoy it. But the greater part of the game is the people that I play with. They make the game so much more fun and us fucking around in the raid and trying to kill each other off in ever more challenging ways makes it even more fun. How we ever manage to get anything accomplished in the game is beyond me but we do and it seems as if we do it with ease. We twitch stream every raid, PvP run, Trials, etc... just to show how much fun we have in the game.
