Is this an improvement even on stock ride height or 1" lift?

Tenfold improvement. Less movement allowed and no rubber to degrade and fail prematurely and/or over time.

Just place a jack stand under the rear most part of the driveshaft, worked well for me.

Definitely an improvement in materials, but in ease of install/use not really - depending on your truck/setup/lift of course

How are the driveline angles with it in this position? It does place it much lower than OEM, correct?

I dont know the exact numbers, but just from looking at it, it does seem to sit a bit lower. not a lot. the driveline angles seem good too. less of an extreme angle going to the 3rd member.

Drops the CB about 2" over where stock sits.

That's what my truck needed then, because it feels freakin amazing.

I went the long way home last night just to get some extra seat time in it feels so good. I had a clunk and a lot of vibes and shutter. I just chalked it up to all the shit done to the truck, especially the valve body upgrade. With its hard shifts, it can be hard to tell. I had a certain metallic clunk that would happen when I put it in Drive or Reverse.. That first engagement of the driveshaft that jerks the truck a bit. I always thought it was just some slop somewhere in the driveline. Well, the IEDLS solved that, on top of my usual take off shudders that were pretty damn bad, and removed any slop and play in the driveline. The truck feels brand new. Solid, smooth, and there doesnt seem to be such a delay between throttle input and the time it takes to get the 3rd spinnin'.. that may just be me and my butt dyno.. but I swear it has removed enough slop to make it feel that way. Granted... my old CB was destroyed.

So was mine. It's not just you, the CB really helps apply power previously lost back to the wheels where the end result really matters.

It would have been nice if someone would have recorded how to replace it and uploaded it on youtube.
