If you want to just bend them back and put a bead on the backside, it's cake. I have not done the TC kit yet but pretty sure you have to drop the lower to do it.

BAMF sliders with kick up. BAMF all skids. Icons w/ CDC up front. Icon UCA's. All pro expos with 12” kings in rear. Wheelers superbumps. 285 stt pros on black 16" fj wheels. 1" Bora wheel spacers. Relentless tailgate reinforcement. Ditch lights front and rear. Aironboard switches. Aux. bussman box.Center console vault. Esp locking storage. Tuffy bed box. Rear seat molle system. Color matched grill.Rear diff breather mod. ABS switch. PrInSu cab rack. Gusseted spindles.
Excuse my ignorance on the subject but i cant keep my alignment right. As soon as i get it aligned i take it off road and its fucked by the time i'm back on the road. Would putting a bead on a them help with that? Why do the TC kit if a bead does the job? Just for extra strength on the tabs?

OK I went and looked at some writeups on the TCs. Yeah, PITA. Remove LCAs, etc. Looks like it is better done on a lift.

I like the bead idea. My thought on this mod is do it while the truck is "new" and before they get fucked. But I should probably pull and apply antiseize to the bushing sleeves/bolts ASAP anyway while it is new and easy and not time-consuming surgery and requires new hardware.

Take a look at the cam tabs. If they are flattened out, you probably won't hold an alignment. On that same token, if they are flat, the alignment tech wont be able to align it. So either he is feeding you a line of shit or you have something else going on. The weld on the backside is basically a band-aid in my opinion, the TC kit is a much stronger, better design.
