Get rid of the current auto tranny and put the 5 speed auto paired with 4.0L. Anyone whoever owned or drove one knows the difference and how perfect that combo was. other than that I think toyota hit it out of the park with this truck. I love it!

I would be happy with more seat adjustability, whether power or manual, a driver side grab handle, and leather seats as an option in TRD models.

DRLs, LED headlights and tail lights Need to be standard on all models.
So does a power locking tailgate, and power folding mirrors.
Toyota are the kings of making things optional on their cars, only with higher end packages that every other MFG gives you standard

Drivers side grab handle is a must and I would like to see the OR Manual available in the Access Cab.

Put the ECT button on the shifter as a thumb button or on the Steering wheel.

Once the family is grown, I can see my self wanting that smaller truck again, but they need to keep the family in mind as well. But ya that 25+ mpgs is something that they are going to need to do

Um, all manufacturers do that, higher end model more features (GM, Ford, Dodge, ect), Toyota doesn't do it any different than the others.

These lists always crack me up, basically it is a how would I mod my truck or what features does a bentley have that mine doesn't list.

I will throw out these trucks absolutely need Laser headlights, led headliner with the consultation that is above my house in suede. Leather from Japanese raised lamb that is anly few Kobe beef. 33 speaker stereo with no less than 2k watts. V8 and 33 city and 40 hwy mpg and 9k towing. Must fit in a compact spot but hold 5 adults comfortably. Massaging seats for sure. Complete touch screen dash ala Tesla but hidden buttons just incase with a panoramic full glass rough that is shatter/bullet proof. Optional baja flares and 37's through TRD. A dump bed option and gull wing doors that also function as regular doors. Must be cheaper than the current truck though.

    Yup, that should cover everyone..

Redesign the center console. They need to put the parking brake back on the floor like the gen2. Make the center console a lot more useful space.

    In no particular order:

Add a tethered screen mirroring option that allows the touchscreen to work the phone from the entune system so I can do what I want with the display. It annoys me that I need to have my phone up where I can get at it to use Waze or whatever. I want to ghost it while it sits in the console. Or... give me a delete option for the whole thing and I'll use the space to put my own tablet. There isn't much in there of any real use anyway.

Get rid of that stupid warning that keeps popping up whenever I accidentally flip to the tilt angle display screen in the info on the cluster. I get it... don't roll the truck. Give me a box to check that say I agree - but lose the f**king warning.

Put some useful widgets in the info screen besides fuel mileage and speed - how about real numbers from the ECU for oil pressure and temperature, coolant temp, A/F, fuel pressure, voltage, etc.

Height and tilt/tip adjustment for the driver's seat.

    Driver's side grab handle.

Carpeting delete or rubber flooring option + vinyl/"pleather" seats.

A switch to physically lock off the passenger air bag. I see it changing state when my dog is over there - he must be right on the bubble for the trigger weight.

Turn and hold the key in the door closes/opens the windows. My 12yr old BMW had this - really useful for when you get out and forget a rear window - or when it's 100F and you want to air it out before climbing in.

Pop-n-lock tailgate. New radio knobs. Rear step.
A refined powertrain would be great. I love the looks, the features, and I'm okay with the size/power/MPG. I'd just like a vehicle that didn't surge sometimes, that didn't stumble under part throttle, and that could be stopped in a smooth and consistent manner.
