I love how the truck looks. Do you just have the rear shocks to a custom length or do you also have the fronts coilovers at a custom length also?

 

Thanks! I'm bummed that I haven't got to get her out as much as I'd like but now that my son is older, next year should really be a blast!

The front coilovers are their standard extended travel 2.5's. The rears are "custom built" to be paired with the Dakar packs so they're not the limiting factor in travel. I guess they're ordered enough that they actually have a part number from Icon, which is CB2036.

 

FINALLY!! Caught up with the guy who bought my FJ and I was able to snap a few pics of it with my Taco. Happy to report he's in love with the FJ and uses it as intended...

285/70/17...same as on the Taco. Looks bigger huh?

Of course I knew the FJ was shorter than the Taco by a lot but it never hit me until I had them side by side. Seeing it again made me miss it a bit for sure...was stoked that the new owner loves it as much as I did.

 

Yeah they looked bigger is why I asked. Always been a fan of the fj's

Mounting the rtt on your shell?

 

That's the plan. I was always torn on an RTT because I use the shit out of my roof racks. I'll try to take it on and off as needed.

Also considering some low profile SOS bars or rack...but I can't do without my shell.

I love those wheels. How much were they?

 

I jumped in on that Geo Adventure Gear RTT group buy and snagged a GT-140.

I think they were like $230-$240 each... They're the Level 8 Bully Pro's from @Discount Tire Direct
