When they first started doing their videos, they were great and the focus was on the adventure itself, where they went and the things that happened. Later programs became more about the drama of the adventure. To the point where it seemed the drama was created on purpose. The one about going up the Morrison Jeep trail dragging a trailer comes to mind. Since then, as they have become more popular and better known, the videos have become one, 30 minute long commercial for their product sponsors. Between the created drama and all the commercialization, it became quite the turn off for me.

They had a good thing. And money ruined it.

 

I actually enjoyed the new 3 part series. The Alaska and Central America ones were both bad.

 

Haven't seen one scone the first Alaska one. Was terrible.

 

Do you know of any fun trails in the Big Horns? Gonna be heading up tomorrow and wouldn't mind seeing some new terrain.

There's a new road down south canyon I've wanted to check out. Ten sleep something. Gotta look at my messages for what it was called again.

 

I was actually just looking into that trying to figure out where it's at. I was doing some research on the Jeep Jamboree thing they did up there trying to figure out what trails they were doing. Saw Boulder Basin in the comments.

 

East ten sleep lake. Looks fun. Though the photos I apsaw where big water crossings. Probably not big now haha

 

I was up there when they where there. Was a ton of them. Idk where the hell they all go that bring so many people. Not any hard trails. Boulder basin has to be the hardest.

It off the shell resivour lake road. First right and then the next left. I'm headed to the gym but I'll get you a way point tonight.

Yeah nothing looked too spectacular, a couple cool spots it seemed like. Sounds good though. You should join us if you get the chance, I think we're gonna try to head up mid morning and spend a solid day up there.

 

Id be down. Boulder basin is fun. Few rough spots. Steep hill and a fun off camber section with a creek crossing. Did a trip report on it a while ago. Plus plenty of roads back there to keep you busy for the day

 

Easy ten sleep lake is a pretty cool trail, not to challenging. Just enough rocks to have to pay attention. The lake is just a short hike up the hill, pretty good fishing last time I was up there.

 

Yea looks fun. Nothing in the big horns is hard. Just fun usually haha

Id meet you at shell ranger station. From there we can go up to the lakes. Then out Moran creek like last time but whilet creek is open now so we can continue past the creek. Ends up at wood chuck. Then to red grade and you guys are home.

 

Wish my TRE weren't on backorder. I could go for a wheeling adventure

 

Still figuring it out. Ideally we can try to get up there fairly early to give us a solid day of wheeling.

That sounds good though. Is that Ranger station right off of 14? Been a while since I've taken that route.

 

Which ones? Outers or inners?

I'm game for whatever. Not doing an over nighter?
