Headstrong charged him for assembly of his coilovers and it now appears the passenger side wasn't assembled correctly. How is headstrong not at fault here? Serious question. I've already been pm'd by headstrong for "trash talking" headstrong for posts made in this thread so I don't want that to appear to be the case here.

No disrespect, but all headstrong assembled was the coil to the shock, They did not build the shock. I don't see how anything they did would have caused this. Many people are having great results with Billy's, maybe you got a bad one. Who installed the assembly into the truck? Perhaps something was done wrong in that process.

No disrespect taken. I am asking a legit question here about coil over assembly. So when they put the coil over the shock do they have to do anything with how the shock is bolted into the top bucket?

Not really they compress the spring, put the shock through the spring, put on a rubber bushing, the top hat, another rubber bushing and then snug the top nut down to hold the whole thing together.
Who installed the assembly onto the vehicle?

Gotchya I've never assembled one and assumed when you put the coil on it required removing the top bucket.

Would you notice the shock not being threaded into the top bucket when installing coils?

Costco usually has some GREAT deals on ammo cans, usually a .50 and .30 can for like $30?

Not sure what you mean the top bucket. It should look like this when assembled.
