I have been wandering about the TSB on the frame for my 04 TacomaSR5 and came across a sample letter that Toyota started sending out Dec 08, it is CSC-10027968-5540. It basically states that all owners should receive a letter and take ther vehicle in and have it inspected for rust on the frame. It also states that they will treat the frame and has extended the warranty for frame rust an additional 15 years from date of production. Owners have until 10/10 to have it inspected. My question is why I have not received the letter and if anyone else has received it when I currently reside in OHIO.

I still haven't received a letter either and I am in NY. You don't need a letter to bring the truck in. Call a dealer and set an appointment. I also still need to do this before October.

Exactly, you don't need the letter. Just call your local $tealer and ask them to set up an appointment for your frame inspection. If they don't know what the hell you're talking about, hang up and find another $tealer.

    Hey,
Does anyone know if this offer is still valid for new owners? I am about to buy one (this weekend) and will want to have a dealer look into it.
