Mine says green to relay
red to 12v
blue to dash lights
black neg

 

That's the exact directions I got but they are unnecessarily confusing if you are not tying into your high beams. Here is what I used. Ignore the "white" wire and where my diagram says "blue" it would be your red wire on the switch.

 

If you reverse red and green the switch will still work but the led might not.

 

@303tacoma he ^^^^ is right. I can tell you that my led still worked though. I guess it just made more sense to me switching the colors. The red and green wires get connected inside the switch when it's turned on.

The relay is all hooked up to iggys switch

 

If you got all iggys wires ran to the switch follow how I said connecting and you'll be good. Mountain monkeys is Better if your getting taping into wires under dash

Just get a large wire nut, twist all the wires together, and let them work it out.


Jk.. Whatever you do, make sure you don't isolate any of the terminals or connections. Jake doesn't like to see wires keeping to themselves.

I get all my metal from here. I have a bunch of 1/4" plus but you won't need that thick of metal to learn on.

 

Let me see how today goes. I have one more buck to go through and then make jerky. If and only if i am not boiling skulls tomorrow @PS78 would tomorrow work for getting the truck or can you wait tell next weekend? Josh we can probably shoot for monday if you want

 

Have you seen his soldering im sure he could melt holes in 3/8 plate the way he is going.

The other one that was mentioned is close to work so I'll try that. Maybe i can find some metal patio tables or similar for cheap or free.

For a welding table top, is that just steel or is it something special to keep it from rusting?

I need to find something to practice on, or a practice project.

I do have some body shop test panels somewhere, those are 1/8 steel or so.
