Classic ARB lines, makes the front of a 3rd gen look better. Hides that ugly grill. I need to start building a bumper for the Tundra because ARB only makes a Safari bumper and that is lame.

Don't be :jellydance: that i have such great multi tasking.

I should do a video of the capabilities of my multi tool... Solder a wire, then weld some plastic and finish up with burning some wood.

I didn't realize until recently that they have no recovery points. ARB FTL

You really couldn't find a spot on that 750 pound bumper for at least one recovery point.

Yeah but you could find good scrap for .50 a pound.
Start with 3/16. It's a good base to start with.

A small handful of select mods.
Zoom the picture in. You retain the factory location on the drivers side. And ARB jut released a cool recovery point at SEMA for the passenger side to replace the factory one.

When I worked at Slee about 10 years ago we had a rep come by and explain why. The basics of the conversation went that there were concerns from litigation due to snatching/pulling that was tearing the bumpers off. Some changes with Australian law meant that the recovery points were required to be certified were also mentioned. If you get a chance, look to ARB AU at some of the recovery point options, very large/clunky/overbuilt that take away ground clearance.

What would a spring rating needed to support an ARB bumper? Looking at the spec bumper weights 180#? WOW! Is that normal?

Probably so you can put a strap to the other side to keep the play doh bed from separating. :rimshot:
