Aside from arb making one of the ugliest bumpers I've ever seen take a look at the profile. It sticks out so far! The only worse bumper is probably the relentless fab one.

And here I thought that had been taken down from everywhere (I just downloaded it way back when). I guess it keeps popping up if you know how to find it. That appears to be the repair link though, and I don't see a cross link to the wiring side: http://www.customtacos.com/tech.old/files/05FSM/wiring.html and more specifically http://www.customtacos.com/tech.old...6toyewd/06toypdf/ewd/2006/tacoma/h/em01d7.pdf But then maybe people are familiar enough with it to know what to change in the url...

I forgot i have a ton of brackets and random stuff i can practice welding on.

You guys hang tight...the most epic welds you've ever seen will be pictured later today.

As long as i hooked it up correct and i don't ground it through myself.

That is a pretty picture. And truck. And bumper. The problem I've had in deciding on a bumper is that I see some great pictures and really like the way things look, then on some rare occasion get to see one in person and it's more like... ew. Or at least maybe I don't quite like it as much as I did in whatever picture from whatever particular angle. Amen on the grill though. The only way it could be worse if it were one of the chrome versions.

    But... that's not a recovery point, it's a tie-down. :D

I'm a sucker for classic ARB styling, even though they have less clearance then most custom bumpers. My personal opinion of the new 3rd gen style of flush mount high clearance almost makes me gag. My preference is along the lines of a 3rd gen 4runner or FJ80, it looks like they tried to capture that with this bumper for the turd gen Tacoma. That is the style I'm going to try and imitate.
