Just was driving home from Chili's with family, and a big Deer(buck) ran across the road right in front of me...All I saw was a big brown blob inches from the front of my truck. I made a quick jab on the brakes, and he just skimmed of the front grille. Heard a slight thump, and was sure there was going to be damage to my front end. Dodged a huge bullet.....:muscleflexing:

That price includes all taxes and fees right? If so, do you mind telling me what dealer this is? Nearly all I've talked to want MSRP or above, not including any of the other fees. :annoyed:

Yes, but give me a few weeks so I can get final numbers on paper and I'll be glad to tell you. I'm getting 300 below MSRP through a friend so it's different. I was actually happy to pay MSRP considering the markup and damn things being sold before they hit the lot. There are a few dealers that don't sell above MSRP in so cal.. you have to look in the metro areas where Prius is their volume. If you go out to Ontario and such their volume is trucks so that's where you see the $5,000 markup.

Awesome man, thanks for doing this. I may very well hit them up and ask for the same deal, if they're willing and able to sell another TRD Pro. :)

i don't know if you're picky on color and transmission, but from what i gather you're better off placing an order. sure theres one or two out there and sometimes it comes with accessories like side steps which you may or may not be looking for and then there's the markup.

Yeah I actually am, looking for Cement 6MT and nothing else. I'm more than willing to wait for my truck to be built and shipped, it's just I thought that you can't actually "order" Tacos in the normal sense, you just sorta pay a dealer a deposit so they can allocate and get shipped a model you want.

Only accessory I actually want is the OEM Tonneau cover, rest I can buy and install myself.

And yeah, all the dealers around me are charging a stupidly high markup on Pros, so I got excited when I read your 41.5k price tag. Cause if that's OTD price then that's the best deal I've seen for a Pro in CA. Figured if they can get you a Pro for that price, why not me? I'm your brother from a very different and separate line of mothers! :anonymous:

Not including tax and fees. First month + fees + registration should cost me around $900. Because i'm leasing, taxes are factored into monthly payments so i'm not getting hit with a lump sum sales tax like on a purchase. I'm also going for the cement 6MT. I have 4 months left on my current lease so I need to order mine first week of December for February delivery according to the dealer.

Ah I see, definitely thought 41.5k OTD was too good to be true. That's cool though, I still have my contact with a local dealer to get one for MSRP, but with all the TTL, final OTD price is probably gonna be in the low 44k range.

Let me know how it is once you get it, I'm looking forward to getting one myself once I get all my ducks lined up in a row.

For now I'll just admire from afar.:woot:

    will do.
Are you purchasing yours? I'm going the lease route because I don't have 10,000 - 20,000 for a down payment to get a reasonable monthly payment. With a small down payment i'm looking at over $600/month to finance it. I can afford it, but I prefer to have a cash flow in my bank. I'm going to lease it as a way to put about $15K and then finance to own it at the end of the lease. then I can double down on payments to pay it off in 2 years. Yea, it's a little weird way of doing it, but it won't keep me cash poor this way.

I had the exact same thing happen to me night before last. Rounded a corner and there she was trotting right in front of me. Left skids marks on both the street and my underwear. Just missed her. Pros must be a deer magnet.

OEM Cover isn't a factory option. The dealer may have a take off or you or you could look in the buy/sell of TW forums, which is how I got mine.

Factory tri-fold cover isn't available on the Pro. It's a factory installed option, not dealer like all-weather floor mats and stuff.
You can do a lot better buying aftermarket anyways.

Yeah I'll be financing mine. I'm gonna sell my current Taco so I can place it as a down payment for a Pro. Depending on how much I sell it for and how much the dealer charges me, I shouldn't pay more than around $400 big boys each month. Again, not the best deal but my finances will be fine.

:bananadead: Ah shit really? I suppose I could look into aftermarket, but I like to keep things as OEM/stock as possible. Any suggestions for aftermarket covers?

From the looks of things, installing an OEM cover involves drilling holes into your bed rail? If that's the case, I would probably want a dealer to install it for me. And if they won't, then I guess I really do need to go aftermarket.:broccoli:

No drilling holes for the OEM cover.

Ah, I misspoke, they cut out sections of the bed rail to allow the OEM cover to attach. I'll look into whether a dealer or someone else wants to sell me one.

I believe there are shorter OEM rails that can be installed so no cutting
