My first post and new member .

    So I bought a 2002 Tacoma v6
D-cab this week (not 4x4) @ 165kk around $6200 clean title . I check the frame for any rust and no rust. Just done it maintence oil change, air filter, and factory anti freeze . Transmission is good, the owner said timebelt was change a year or 2. Brake fluid breaks looks new but gonna need breaks soon. The Steering fluid and rear differentrial going to change soon.

My concern is my tire size . It seem to me Not city type tire and not stock size tires. My worries is going to effect ordermeter and gas lost. Almost forgot what kind of break pad should I use , I heard ceramic break pad last a long time .

Please any advice or suggestion ?
( Could send me any links )

Southern California city boy and hardly any already rain .

Welcome to TW and nice truck. You might try going to the 1st gen section and doing a search on tire size discussions. Just a suggestion. Good luck.

    Welcome to TW.
I'm not sure which tire size would have come on your truck (1st gen guys please chime in), but assuming 225/75r15 was the factory size and the speedo gear hasn't been adjusted, this will show you the difference between the tire sizes. https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=225-75r15-265-70r16

If you are wanting to go with more of a stock setup, I'd suggest going to the SoCal section and talking with some of the folks there. You may find someone who would be interested in swapping. I'm not really sure what they'd be worth, maybe someone else wih more knowledge can chime in.
