I get a 120mph vibration on the m car. I should have that looked at...

 

Does it go away at 125?

 

I should get mine rebalanced since I have a mountain of weights on my wheels.

My trans am didn't have vibrations, even at 160

Been a while since I've been on. How goes it around here?

 

So I found out yesterday that the wife's CX-5 may actually end up being totaled out on me. I've got my fingers crossed that's what ends up happening on the car. The body shop wants it totaled out since they are concerned about non-visible mechanical damage sustained between the actual crash and the landing after I got it up on two wheels, as well as the shift lever damage after I hit the pole. They feel like even if they fix the cosmetic and structural damage, things will keep popping up on me and make the whole thing a nightmare.

We will see what happens. All I know is I'm on Day 23 on the rental of 30 allotted, so regardless, I'm hoping my local insurance agent can go after the at-fault party's insurance and get me some coverage until it's sorted out.

The wife can't drive manual. Both the Tacoma and Vette are manual, so it's tough. If I had my old Tacoma, I'd have no problem slumming it in the Vette for a few weeks, as long as the white stuff didn't fly.

I could probably put together a solid $800 offer right now, $825 in a pinch. That's about all the budget allows though.

 

Same thing we ran into when we first met. Her truck was a 5 speed and I couldn't drive it. She hated my old car which was auto but I forced her to use it when her back went out bad in 2003, the clutch was murder on her and I couldn't drive it anyhow

When I broke my ankle and needed a plate in it, I had my STi and Xtracab, both manual. Everyone started teasing me about only having a manual until I reminded them I broke my right ankle. Then I had to reluctantly ask them for a ride.

 

I'll let you rent it for 2 weeks for that haha

Maybe an excuse for a hand throttle. Yea I sprained my ankle pretty bad my commute was 2 miles thankfully. Started that sucked in 2nd and didn't stop or shift.

Use electrical tape to tape the weights on when you use the balancer, saves on wasting weights...
