I don't even notice the antenna there. It doesn't affect my field of view.

OP, looks to me like you may need to loosen the hood mount bolts up a bit and give the bracket a wiggle to make sure it's seated down flat against the hinge and the bolts are centered. I've never seen one lean that much, though it is not uncommon for a little bit of angle which is why in our description on our site state that if used to mount an antenna it may not sit perfectly vertical. The brackets were designed as ditch light brackets first, though do carry the ability to mount other things to them like the antenna.

I have installed a Rago bracket on my left side for the same purpose....

If you look at it from the front it's straight... but from the side it off like yours. A let me say it bothers me too, looks red neck to me.

The bracket is seated properly. I'm going to pull mine and give it a quick bend.

FWIW... I WOULD ground your hood through your hood bolt.

Stupid question, but is your truck stock height or leveled? I ask because if it's stock height, it's going to point forward slightly when looking from the side because the plane of the truck has a forward tilt.

    Stock... It definitely the bracket.

I have not tried the right side. I really want it where I have it.

The only thing, RF speaking "electrically" I don't think its optimal.

    It's dark... PICS tomorrow

Just checked mine. Looking at the front it's perfectly straight. Looking from the side, it is tilted forward ever so slightly, almost imperceptible. I will try to get pictures tomorrow.

No, when opening the hood it leans backs with it but there is clearance. You probably can't pull your wiper blade up with the antenna on though.

I did have both shoes on and it wasn't windy enough to rock the boat. Thanks for the comments though.

Shit! Decided to read this thread AFTER I purchased, but I already have a ditch bracket and pod installed. While it's Sunday and don't expect Relentless to answer on a weekend, can anyone tell me if the Relentless cb/aux bracket has clearance from my current ditch bracket/pod? If anyone has both installed?

    Thanks.
