    Back to the dilemma.

Frames and rust. So there are concerns about welding to the frame since tacomas have frame issues. But isn't there also a concern on the bolt on front with water going behind the plates. I know on other projects anything I've bolted on always has rust behind it. Despite proper painting.

Also those welded sliders aren't on the site yet. ;)

There are concerns and we recommend the consumers that if they are worried about rust, pull them off yearly and clean the frame and sliders and touch up the areas of exposed steel with paint.

And I know, I am trying lol. I try really hard to take off at least one day a week...

Haha. No worries. I'm just giving you a hard time. Just make it sure it's a few days before the sale is over. You have my business - partly because your product it good (I liked at every mfg'r today) and also because you are so responsive. Which is important.

I just want to see what the weld on mounts look like. Then to decide if I want weld one or bolt on. I'm still leaning toward weld on. But we'll see.

Got it. @jowybyo is my business partner who does webpage and handles all boxing/shipping the bed accessories whereas I do anything fabrication related and we share design and R&D. But I try not to bug him too much haha. I will PM you pics of how they weld on until I can get the site updated.

Not tonight. I have a bunch of design work to finish up so we can run more parts this coming week. It's bumper week, have 4 bumpers to build!

I hope one of those bumper designs work with 2016 bumper sensor whatever they are called. I've gotten lazy with those and use them way more than I should. ;)

That gives me time to save up I guess. My order is sliders, front bumper, then rear. :annoyed:

I know I’m dredging up an old topic, but I need the advice of those more intelligent than me on the matter. Looking to upgrade my hoop steps to a set of sliders. I’m leery of doing intense off-roading with her on a consistent basis for right now with how new she is, so I feel like bolt on are the way to go. However, some of my buddies over on the Tundra side of the house are telling me weld-on is the way to go due to it being more robust and taking stress off the bolts. What would you fellas recommend?
