    Evening everyone

Had a fun time today with my Camaro at my local monthly car show . Didn't win trophy today but enjoyed bench racing with friends plus also showing a friend of mine the roll cage in my Camaro and other go fast parts

Did enjoy driving my Camaro to the car show open header plus this was the first time I drove my Camaro on the street using the full 5 point harness set up ,usually just wear the lap belt only . Found it hard to check traffic and actually drive on the street with the full 5 point on

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Heard that. I have a friend with one of these: http://www.kirkhammotorsports.com/

With only a 5 point harness. He let me drive it, and with the horrible mirrors on this beast and the 5-point, it was nearly impossible to see aroung you.

But what a monster the car is!

Sounds like everyone's been busy as usual. Today we headed out to look at the sights. Bit chilly and nothing exciting, only got on gravel twice but it was a good day.

The new Spirt lake. Those are the logs/trees floating from 1980 when the mountain blew her top.

Thanks. Just crappy cell phone pic but right now it's that or my old Pentax K1000. I don't even know where to get film anymore. We made the run because the snow should be hitting it within the next couple of weeks and the Forest Service closes access.

So some friends of ours came from San Diego to watch the races with us. The mom registers her son in a raffle and he won the opportunity to present the trophy. It was a fun night and they gave him a little trophy too.20161112_225319.jpg 20161112_215754.jpg 20161112_215748.jpg

Good Morning 50s, it's a little chilly this morning in Southern Maryland but it's supposed to warm up and be a nice day. I hope everybody stays safe and has a great day.

Yes it is hard with the five point. But you are secure.. When I strap Bob in the car he also has a Hans Device and arm restraints. Now that is being secured. About all you can do is move your eyes.
You don't realize how much you actually move in a street car to look around until you can't. Very wierd.
Bench racing. Oh yea.... I remember the time that..............

    Oh and the time........

    There was this guy......

    You should have seen.......

    Yea bench racing.
    The poor mans sport.. ROFLMAO

We had a original Cobra for a while. Had to do some motor work on it. Then we ended up selling it to someone in Japan. It had all original interior and paint and they sent pics a year later and they ruined it by repainting it and replacing the interior. Worth about 50% of value now.... Oh well. Another classic bit the dust.

A Cobra appeared locally about 10 years ago for a brief time.
I found out it was mothballed at a local estate in town since the late 60's.
Owner imported it from Belgium at that time and it was a genuine racer in Europe. Still had it's numbers too.
Saw /heard it that Summer and after that, never again.
