Vacation got off the grid for a while...
Airboats in Hernando & a trip to my friends place in Steinhatchee FL.
Was a disaster....
Hermine, the Sept Hurricane filled the house with 18" of water....
The place dried out fine, no mold, but the floors and walls separated.
This place will not make it thru another big storm.
There is a 20'x25' CBS Shop on the property that survived just fine.

We dug a 40' underground conduit feed from the pole to the Shop for 200 amp service.
The Shop will provide 2 RV Hook-ups so that homes on wheels can be moved out of harms way,
for the next TS or Hurricane event.

Also good to be off the grid with all the chaos surrounding the election.

Last day of Fleet services RSA so it bitter sweet.

I come in to read stuff, but I'm staying off the grid more at home, to get more projects accomplished

Nah, not yet. I'm wondering how it's gonna go. Hopefully the adjuster calls me on Monday. I've got it all listed and priced.

Also wondering if stuff in wife's car that is missing will be covered by the HO insurance...? Auto only covering $250. There was a $1300 iPod Air in there (from work, not our's).

That's a good deal on the Avalon. Sucks about your vehicle's man.

 

at the end of the day, I'd rather have an R6, a Tacoma with camper shell, and that Avalon. But I ain't gonna kick the 4Runner out of the bed.
