I just got really nervous. My plan was to install it with the URD CAI AND I have a winch...

Not sure what to do right now...

It's not rocket science. Find a spot and make it work. As long as the pump is the lowest spot of the coolant path it's fine. Just don't expect to be done in the quoted 12 hours.

Also for those installing on their own. Do yourself a favor. Remove the grill as step one. You will thank me later.

What have you done to your truck lately
If you have a pelfreybilt front bumper your pump needs to be relocated. This where I mounted mine.

Nope. One or the other BD or TRD reflash.
You are correct. Stay out of boost and you'll be fine. I drove mine 15 miles to the dealer on the stock tune after installing mine. The tune essentially just tells the truck that you are running larger injectors.

I don't think the battery charger is working. Left it on over night and the BD tuner still states my battery is at 11.9 Volts. I've tested the battery myself and its reading 12.14. Maybe try a different charger. The BD tuner won't let you proceed if the voltage is under 12.1. Suggestions?

Some cheap Walmart one. Going to return it and just buy a nicer one. Then return that one when I'm done. I will look for something above 10amp.

Good to know. The charger you have is the one I'm hoping to find. We'll see what I come up with. Thanks!

To any of you who are finished with your install and are using the 2.85 pulley Bully Dog tune. On your Bully Dog in the settings screen, what does yours say for the "Current T.V and File T.V?

    Mine says "T006 A"

I just want to make sure I have the right tune before I go ripping down the road!

This is exactly what I was running into. I kept reformatting cards and pulling down the file from BD. Same error over and over. Finally I actually looked at the card, and whoever zipped up this tune fat fingered the file GTUMENU.GTG. On my SD card, it was labeled as "GTUMMENU.GTG". Well no wonder it couldn't find the file
I selected 2010-2014 Manual Tacoma SC and it uploaded some files. Took about 15 seconds I suppose, not long at all. Is that all I need to do?

Here's my proposed setup for the fuel filter. Tank is to the left, engine to the right. That's a lot of Russell fittings.

Yep I think you now need to go to the truck and select install download.

Sorry thats what I was referring to, I was at the truck at that point. I was surprised at how quick the files loaded. I was thinking it would take quite a while. I just wanted to make sure the tune loaded. Wonder if there is a way to double check now that it's been transferred.
