Look at the settings menu I think the tune is listed as the T.V file. Mine says T006 A

When it loaded, the BD made some chirp noises for a few seconds then went black and rebooted. It prompted with a warning of some sort but disappeared before I could read it.

I'll go look at that and see. I don't have the 2.85 so it may be different.

What worked for me was inserting SD card into tuner then plug it into computer using USB. Run the agent select update. After it updates unplug USB remove and reinsert SD and close program. The adaptor wasn't working for me. Plug into computer then open up update agent and it finally recognized the SD card. I had to close and open the update agent a few times and remove and reinsert SD card. After that you should be able to pull down menu and select your vehicle. I also plugged it into computer exited USB mode and was able to fully reboot the handheld on the menu screen. If you do that just make sure you have the right model number from the packaging on the tuner. It will ask for it.

Ok not sure what I did earlier, but apparently it didn't download what needed to download. Now it is giving me the warnings of making sure I am attached to a battery charger and whatnot. When I select continue, it says that my battery needs to be at least 12.1V, but I am only at 12V and it won't continue. I am beginning to hate BD.

Here is the screen after the BD tuner has been connected to the vehicle. You'll select your tunes on the device, it will tell you code 550. It will then prompt you to unplug from vehicle to download tune from update agent. Plug into USB with SD in handheld device. Then open light duty agent to download official tune. Sorry pictures are swapped bottom screen is supposed to be first

Well I got it to work! Just needed a decent charger. Id definitely recommend a 15amp minimum charger. Now it's time to start tearing this thing apart!

Ok I just did the uninstall feature and put the truck back to stock. Now I'm redownloaing all the tunes from the update agent.

Initially I only selected to download 2.85 pulley and stock shift points. This time I'm downloading tune A (2.85/performance shift points) tune B (2.85/stock shift points) tune C (3.00/performance shift points)

It's a shame the BD won't display the actual tune (i.e. 2.85 w/ performance shift points) vs saying tune A, B or C.

Message if you need anything. I just finished mine this morning.

How many gallons of coolant did you get? I bought 2. I didn't drain the block. But I caught a gallon or so in my bucket.

When I refilled the coolant I used a gallon and a half on the cooling system and can up a bit short on the charge cooler circuit. So I used some of what I caught when I drained the radiator to make up the difference.

So T006A shows no matter what tune I install. So the BD does not show what tune your truck "currently" has. You just have to remember what tune you had. Time for a test drive.

I bought just one gallon of coolant. Hoping to reuse what I drain and use the one gallon I bought. Do you think that's enough
