Thanks, I assume you mean the panel that holds the cubby. I saw in another thread that the cubby is held on with 4 screws. That guy had removed the whole lower dash section and not just the switch/cubby panel.

Ya that's what I meant. Super simple.
I removed my lower dash section so I can get to the spot where wires come from the engine. But you don't need to remove the lower dash just for the cubby. And yes 4 tiny screws hold it in place.

I got my Taco and the wife's 4Runner tinted to match the rear windows... she still gives me hell because hers is bigger

oh well..... soon......

 

I had to pull off the lower dash section do get the switch panel out without damaging any tabs. After I got the small part out, I put the dash back together.

 

So the other day I added a TRD Pro Skid Plate along with some 3x2 18w @CaliRaisedLed amber pods! They both turned out great!!!!
