Don't get me wrong Mike, I have nothing against toytec and am not talking shit about their products, just stating facts of quality of other products compared to theirs. Many people seem perfectly happy with their stuff but as with most things, what's "best" to you can only be determined based on what you have experience with. That's why the answer "they're awesome" or "I'm happy with them" is completely useless and unhelpful in every way. Jeremy does this a lot ....... The average person doesn't know the difference between levels of suspension quality. When I was a teenager, I thought the bigger the lift, the better the suspension was. For the most part that's ass backwards and completely wrong but I didn't know any better until I learned more about it.

I didn't mean to sound condescending if that's how it came across. Just giving you examples of how higher quality parts can be had for the same amount of money and that the kit on toy tec is not complete. The best websites are the ones hidden from the "masses". Bookmark these ....

The DS offering are nice, but I think they are out of my price range. The AllPro kit looks pretty good. Actually a bit cheaper than the ToyTec. The only thing I didn't see in the kit were shims to correct the pinion angle. Oh my luck they're current out of stock...

I don't think I need bumpstops because I have the Sumo's, as for the ubolt flip kit, why exactly do I want that, i.e. whats the advantge to filpping them?

Out of your price range? You showed a setup off of Toytec for $2200 consisting on Toytec coilovers, LR ucas, Toytec rear shocks and Dakar springs. On DSMS you can put a package together for $2300 consisting of Fox 2.5 coilovers, Camburg ball joint ucas, 5100 rear shocks and Icon 3 leaf progressive pack. 10% off below $2100 and black Friday sales are coming up.

The Fox coilovers are FAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR superior to the Toytec coilovers. The Camburg ucas are better then the LR ucas, the 5100s are better then the Toytec rears and the Icon leaf pack is about the best AAL pack on the market.

If I had $2k to spend, I would wait for this sale to start and piece together the best kit I could from multiple places. My list would be: Fox 2.5 coilovers, whatever high end name brand uca has the best sale (Camburg, Allpro, Icon, Total Chaos, MCM, Dirt King, etc .....), either the Allpro leaf pack or Dakar leaf pack, Fox 2.0 rear shocks or 5100s because they are slightly cheaper, extended rear brake lines, Wheelers front bump stops, Allpro flip kit, Wheelers 3° axle shims and Wheelers carrier bearing drop kit.

Besides the rear shocks that can't be rebuilt and at some point either re-arching the springs or buying another pack, that setup will last the life of your truck.

This. I spent around $2600 on suspension, later realized I could have had better front coilovers and UCAs.

This might be wimping out to you, but I've been trying to find a good "complete kit" because I don't feel like I'm up to speed enough on whats good and bad of after market Suspension systems, to know what will work well with each option. I'm concerned that I will purchase the wrong product combination, or not purchase something I'll be needing when I have the truck torn apart. Kind of why I liked the ALLPRO, ToyTec, and OME Kit options. All I have to do is inventory everying before I start, make sure nothing is missing, and install according to the directions.

Keep in mind I was a driver for over 20 years military and civilian, I can drive and teach people to drive all kinds of things. But I'm only a reasonably resourceful back yard mechanic, far all knowing.

What about the Ubolt kit? I still don't understand what's gained by flipping them, and why not do the Front Diff Drop?

Long travel will most likely never happen for me, unless I win the lottory. There are way to many firearms on my want list to spend that much on my suspension. :quickdraw::anonymous:

Ubolt flip gets you ground clearance and puts the nuts on top to prevent damage from rocks etc. The front diff drop doesn't achieve much drop and increases the leverage to more easily shear the mounting bolts, also decreases ground clearance with stock skids, or rubs armored skid.
