i have new dakars i just put on, the drivers side seems normal but the passenger side is sitting on the 1st overload spring and seems like it is sitting 1" higher than the drivers side? Nother in the bed other than a tool box (maybe 50lbs) . Any ideas??

You may have got a mixed pair. Look for a +, 0, or - sign on them. If your passenger side pack has a + put it on the drivers side.

The driver's side is heavier but you shouldn't see a whole inch of difference

I installed them following directions from ARB. They were super easy to put on took about 45 mins each side

I guess you can take it to a shop and have them look it over. It may just be that the springs need to be broke in. Have you driven it like this?

Not that it would make much of a difference but did you torque them with the truck on the ground or on jack stands?

Just filled the truck up with gas and i swear the back dropped 1-1 1/2" of lift just from filling up?! I starting to think these leafs suck #*%!!! ARB is definitely either fixxing this issue or refunding me my $. So far OME has not been a good experience.

a gallon of gas weighs like 6 pounds. You have a 15 or 18 gallon tank. I'm sure you didn't put 100lbs of fuel in it but stand in the bed and have someone see how much it sinks. Surely you're just paranoid now.

I wouldn't return them though, I would swap the driver and passenger side springs and if you still have lean then you'll have to get a trim packer

Actually it is very close i put 15.5 gallons in with gas weighing 6.18 lbs per gallon. I rounded itnto 6.2. That comes out as 96.1 lbs of gas

I messured the bottom of the fender to the pavement (new level drive way) and it is about 1 1/8" lower on the drivers side but the passenger side leaf pack is resting on the overload leaf. Make no since to me. Something had to be not right

Still, that is hardly any weight. Your stock springs should hardly move with 100 more pounds, especially not the stiffer dakars.

I guess that spring is just more stiff. I would switch them and if you still have lean then get a trim packer.
